Blackanese Banana Plants (and Tiaras?)

I hate this. 

Tomorrow I find out the final verdict of the condition of my hair.. a few months ago, a hairstylist near my school took it upon herself to chop off my breast-length locks, because she felt that I was a terrible person for letting my hair get into bad condition (who the eff says things like that?!), when it was really just my hair shedding for the wintertime. She also suggested that I shave the back of my head—which I think was to cover up her uneven scissorwork that she inflicted on my hair.. I think she stunted the growth in a couple places. -_-

So I’ve been trying really hard to nurse my now mid-neck-length hair back to health… not putting any heat on it, not putting it into a ponytail (psh. like I could even try with the length of my hair), and not using chemicals on it. I’m going to go into the salon tomorrow and get some type of treatment, then straighten it for the first time in a couple months to see what its actual length is.. Dear God I hope it grew.
